Today, I experienced a rather unfortunate four-hour stretch, which is quite unusual for someone with my typically optimistic outlook. It all began with a dreaded dentist appointment, knowing I’d be in the chair for a lengthy two hours, and even required some ibuprofen. Exiting the dentist’s chair, I was met with frustrating technical difficulties trying to join a Microsoft Teams meeting, resorting to manually entering the meeting number. After finally entering the waiting room, I realized I’d been inadvertently excluded from the meeting. Returning home, I managed to lock both my car keys and house keys inside the car, and to top it all off, I was unexpectedly stung by a bee on the forehead. Reflecting on this series of misfortunes, I can’t help but hope that the rest of the day will bring a brighter turn of events.
