Great Hotel Lobbies

I recently stayed at the Hotel Paseo in Palm Desert, California, and its lobby has earned a spot in my list of great hotel lobbies. What sets it apart is not only the usual amenities but also two unique features: a classic red Cadillac parked right in the middle of the lobby and a long board shuffleboard. The sight of the shuffleboard brought back memories of my involvement in a local shuffleboard league almost 50 years ago, making the Hotel Paseo’s lobby a standout and evoking a sense of nostalgia for me.
