While staying at a Marriott hotel in Tampa, I was shocked to discover that they no longer carry print newspapers. The decline in print newspapers over the past 18 years, with 25% going out of business since 2005, has reached a point where even common locations like hotels, convenience stores, and airports no longer offer printed versions. Despite being an avid consumer of electronic newspapers, I occasionally crave the tactile experience, distinct smell, and sensory satisfaction of holding and reading a printed newspaper, which seems to be disappearing from our daily lives.
