I decided to challenge myself by hiking in the Sonoran Desert during the day, despite the scorching temperatures. Although it was tough, with temperatures soaring above 100 degrees and challenging terrain, the solitude and beauty of the desert made it worthwhile. However, I’ve learned the importance of starting earlier in the day and ensuring better communication options in case of an emergency.
