
I’m almost embarrassed to admit that after more than eighty years of life, I had never attended a chamber music concert—so I finally decided to go and see what I’d been missing. What I discovered was an unexpectedly intimate and powerful experience, where the closeness of the performers and the music created a deeply personal connection that larger performances rarely achieve. Walking away, I realized it’s never too late to try something new—and sometimes the quietest experiences leave the strongest impressions.
