I Didn’t Want to Do This. Then I Wrote My Obituary

Enjoy every moment

Writing my own obituary felt uncomfortable at first, but once I started, I realized it wasn’t really about accomplishments or milestones at all. It became a deeply personal reflection on what truly mattered in my life — relationships, curiosity, showing up for people, travel, learning, and giving something back through work like the Edge Foundation. In the end, the exercise reminded me that the real purpose wasn’t preparing for death, but paying closer attention to how I’m living right now.
