Middle names

The other day, I met someone without a middle name, which sparked my curiosity. I dove into the history and cultural significance of middle names, discovering that while 95% of Americans have them, middle names are less common in some cultures. Interestingly, my own middle name is Cornelius, which, while rooted in Roman history and family tradition, was a source of teasing growing up. This is the first time I’ve shared it openly, hoping that over time names like Cornelius can become symbols of individuality and pride.
