This summer, my daughter Kelsey and I embarked on a daring adventure, taking our Boston Whaler across open ocean to Martha’s Vineyard. Along the way, we had an unforgettable, JAWS-like encounter when large dorsal fins circled our boat—turns out, we were surrounded by basking sharks! While they were harmless, the experience was both exhilarating and eye-opening, reminding us of the power and mystery of the sea.
