Shock and Awe

I recently had an experience that left me both shocked and deeply moved. After an early morning flight, I arrived at the gate with little time to spare before boarding. As I stood in the aisle, a kind gentleman, surrounded by his family, wordlessly gestured for me to take his seat. I was taken aback, wondering why he thought I needed it, but his act of kindness left me in awe of the genuine goodness that still exists in the world today.
