You Never Know Whom You Will Run Into at the Grocery Store

Today, while shopping at the only grocery store in Edgartown, Massachusetts, I unexpectedly met Ted Danson, who I recognized while picking out vegetables. We had a pleasant exchange where I expressed my admiration for his work on “Cheers,” and we later continued our conversation at the checkout line, discussing our connections to Martha’s Vineyard. This brief encounter was a delightful surprise, providing me with the opportunity to thank him personally for the joy his acting has brought into my life.
